Digital_Dress

Work by Tyler Whaley and Sean Hauze. The idea to design and fabricate a dress and mannequin arose through the exploration of paper vase designs, utilizing the slide tab system developed by Chris K. Palmer. While assembling vases we designed, a friend asked if she could try on the large paper vessels. Dress design and fabrication became the objective. After struggling to find a mannequin for the project we decided to create our own. Perfecting the mannequin became a large focus of the project.
