Time-lapse footage of a laser cut dome I designed under the direction of Chris K. Palmer. The piece was inspired by his CNC router pavilions. I wanted to produce a dome on the laser cutters. The grasshopper definition I made allowed me to adjust the intersecting ribs to insure it was structurally sound and all the pieces would fit on a 32" x 18" laser bed. I also used Palmer's awesome rhino script to process the connections.
