Course Description:
Explore the intermediate concepts of generative modeling in Rhinoceros 6 using Grasshopper. Investigate Grasshopper's generative design features and use them to develop numerous real-life examples.
This course is for design professionals who are looking to efficiently learn concepts and features of Grasshopper in an instructor-led online environment. This course requires "Intro to Grasshopper" training or equivalent.
All training sessions are recorded and videos posted to a private student album for streaming for 3 months after the training. Each day's videos and GH definitions are posted the day of training. If you need to arrive late to a session or leave early, you can get caught up with the videos at a more convenient time.
Session Schedule:
9:00 am-10:30 am Lecture/Classwork
10:30 am-10:40 am Break
10:40 am-12:00 pm Lecture/Classwork
12:00pm-12:15 pm Questions (optional participation)
Details:
The class will be conducted in English using the GoToTraining software.
You will need Rhino 6.0 for Windows.
- Rhino 5.0 for Windows and the Grasshopper plugin is ok.
- Rhino 5 for Mac or Rhino 6 for Mac WIP is ok and Grasshopper is included.
Note: Rhino 6 for Windows is recommended, and Rhino 6 for Windows will be used by the instructor in the training. Students are welcome to use the Rhino for Mac. Differences between the platforms are minor and will be discussed.
