Macdowell Tomova Stratus

Animation produced by macdowell.tomova for RVTR's STRATUS PROJECT. An interactive atmosphere driven by parametric environmental controls, STRATUS motors and responds to user position as well as air temperature, light, and carbon dioxide levels. A first generation physical prototype was unveiled in January, 2011 at the Research Through Making Exhibition (Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Michigan).
