Dynamic Building simulator by by MIT Mobile Experience La

In our approach, we develop a building simulator which allows users not only to show different patterns on façade but also to calculate the simula-tion results in early stage of the building design. The control system can export optimization result to this software to exam the results. The Façade incorporates forty-eight addressable units with Electro-chromic films and PDLC films on different design behaviors. We can claim that this part of design simulation is not only useful for designers to make design decision, but also it provides the control system knowledge base to understand the geometrical information and the knowledge base (sun path, architectural geometry, incident solar). The software in this design stage is implemented inside three-dimensional software; Rhino which takes advantage of accu-rate real time three dimensional geometry displays and is easy to navigator and check information.
