Converting audio file to surface or mesh

Posted on February 27, 2012 at 10:37am 0 Comments

A student of mine is searching for a method to make a 3d object based on sound recordings. There are audio visualizers, so I recon sound is here converted to xy(z) coordinates and these could be imported in Rhino for further editing.

Anyone experience with this?
