Parametric Steel components for a prototype landscape pavilion, produced in Grasshopper and plasma cut. The components are assembled into a tower form using linear wood spanning members. The work is part of the FABCRAFT seminar component strategies, focusing on large-scale fabrication & customized manufacturing. Student: Akihiro Moriya.

It has been a while since my last post, but better late than never! This project is the result of a single student's work starting in a 3-credit seminar, and continuing on his own until the tower frame was completed, a total of about 6 months of learning Rhino GH, learning to WELD, etc.
