Lasercutter and 3d printer in Enschede NL available

In Enschede NL a new FabLab Enschede is opened in april 2011. It's located at Saxion Hogeschool and part of the center for design and technology.

A lasercutter (Trotec speedy 300, 60W) and a 3D printer (Dimension 1200, ABS extrusion printing ) are now available at very generous prices. A CNC metal lathe and metal router will will available soon.

A workshop will soon start to build a low budget 3D printer (ultimaker) which is controlled by Arduino. Objective is to get hands on experience for adding inserts (such as aluminum inserts) and a more intelligent printing device by introducing sensors. We may need suggestions and tips from other users.
