Pivot is a multi-disciplinary design practice. Our team has background in Product Design, Engineering and Architecture. We are just as comfortable working with mass produced products as with custom solutions in architecture. A human centered approach is common to all our work.

The goal has always been the same: To revolutionize how snowshoes are produced and how they function. This has materialized itself in a patented All Direction HingeTM, integrated with the deck as a unibody. The innovative hinge distributes forces smoothly and silently in all directions. Unlike traditional snowshoes, traversing steep sides and descending is a pleasant experience. The characteristic honeycomb pattern means maximum floatation and grip, while keeping snow from piling up on top of the snowshoe. The snowshoes are made from a on a thermoplastic elastomer commonly used in car engines and shock absorbers. It is strong, lightweight and endures millions of cycles over a wide temperature range. For improved versatility, we custom made the B4 BindingTM and the hard biting, stainless steel Fenris CramponsTM. One snowshoe in total contains 12 parts, binding included. 100 percent recyclable. Designed in Norway and made in Norway.
