Danus - Tulane University

A group of Graduate Students contacted me regarding Danus, an anamorphic perspective instillation located within the school of architecture at Tulane University. I was brought in and suggested a material and process which included generating toolpaths which responded to the surface geometry. Attached are some images of the milling process as well as the final installation. Thank you to the Tulane Grad students for bringing me into the process!

I can assign it a particular toolpath direction as well as load feedrates and speeds based on the chosen material and bit. This allows me to vary the cut quality and tooling marks left on the material.
