Bio-inspired lamps exhibition

This exhibition showed the results of design projects developed in the optional research subject in experimental morphology; the course was dictated by the professor David Torreblanca D. in the Industrial Design career at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, in Medellín, Colombia.
The objective of this project was to design lamps inspired by natural forms, specifically plants, through morphological experimentation with Rhinoceros 3D software, digital fabrication technologies and some analogous techniques, whole process was supported by the RhinoFabStudio.

David Torreblanca is a chilean product designer based in Medellín, Colombia, he has a Master's Degree in Product Design Technologies. He is currently associate professor and researcher in the Industrial Design career at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
