taking grades based on A+ through C- represented on the Y axis, and number of classes for the term represented on the X axis. i plotted points for the grades of my highest GPA term, and also my lowest GPA term.

then i followed by using the voronoi tool and offsets to aesthetically adjust the new grid until i was pleased.
