When each color (tool) was place into the holder it required a ‘zeroing-out’ process. This was done by a series of registration marks being made at the origin of the piece. Even with these registration marks, a slight misalignment of the markers resulted in a minor overlapping of color zones as seen in this photo of the Pointillism Toolpath.
