The 'Warhol' series was an investigation into replacing the router of a Techno-isel CNC Router with alternate attachments, in this case a custom made Sharpie holder. The attachment retracted to accommodate surface undulation and marker wear. The 'Warhol' technique was chose as an exploration into how altering toolpaths can change the mood of the pieces. In addition, things such as registration marks and mass production highlight other similarities discovered between these the screen-printing and cnc fabrication processes. 1) Initial Image 2) Modified Version of Initial Image 3) RhinoCAM Screenshot and Sharpie Collection 4) Custom Sharpie Holder
