A salvage board is placed on the CNC Router as a subsurface allowing students to cut fully through their material and secure their materials to the table top surface. After about three months of milling it was time to replace this board however it was far too compelling to simply throw away. Within this piece one can see all the jobs cut during this time frame, this piece simply was the resultant of all other items produced. I’ve replaced this salvage board many times in my milling lifetime however this is by far one of the more captivating pieces. 3/4” mdf, lacquer (photo courtesy of Jay Gould)
