Parametric Design + Optimization + Digital Fabrication

Hello,

We received some emails asking about how to use RhinoGold in Mac OS X.

As a Mac user, I use RhinoGold using Parallels and Bootcamp

Let me talk about the differences. Parallels is an emulator, and the main advantage is you don't need to restart your Mac to execute any Windows software. Parallels is not free software, but the cost is about 60€.

By other hand, Bootcamp runs Windows directly on your computer, then you have available the 100% of your computer to use RhinoGold. And it is free. The only disadvantage is you need to restart the computer and choice if you want Windows or Mac.

In this video, we show how to install Parallels, Windows and RhinoGold. It is not complex, and the best thing is, you can run RhinoGold directly from your Dock!

I hope you enjoy it! Play video...

If you have any doubt, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks and best regards,
