Parametric Design + Optimization + Digital Fabrication
3D scanning and Rhino
Helllo,
I have used Rhino successfully to repair meshes from NextEngine 3D scanning data (following the Rhino tutorial on the topic). I would like to then work with the model to add other parts to it. What would be the way to do this? Is there a way to convert or extract polygonal meshes into splines? Or would I need NextEngine CAD tool software for this?

I thin you need to try few tools or plug-ins for Rhino that would read the point cloud and make a nice surface that you can then be able to edit in Rhino.
