Event Description

Generative Jewelry Design with Rhino is a new way to model jewelry where a design describes a change, it is the transition from entities to operations. A form is created by a series of mathematical operations, instead of being the outcome of applying a conventional command.

Generative Jewelry Design is a "Must Have" complement for any professional applications or Rhino users.

Generative Jewelry Design is for Jewelry designers who are exploring new shapes using generative algorithms, Grasshopper®is a graphical algorithm editor tightly integrated with Rhino’s 3-D modeling tools. Unlike RhinoScript, Grasshopper requires no knowledge of programming or scripting, but still allows designers to build form generators from the simple to the awe-inspiring.

Come and see the latest on Generative Jewelry Design (GJD) with Rhino 5.0 and Grasshopper during a presentation by the director of RhinoFabLab, Andres Gonzalez.
