Event Description

This three day on-going demo/drop-in workshop will be part of FS16-CraftFacturing: the annual conference of the Furniture Society.

Two and three axis CNC machining on flat-bed routers is pretty common these days. The addition of a 4th or rotary axis can open the door to producing parts “in the round” even when those parts are completely organic and asymmetrical. Join the UMN DesignFab team as they explore the fourth dimension with Rhino, Grasshopper, RhinoCam and ShopBot.
