Event Description

Is it time to learn Grasshopper for Rhinoceros?

Grasshopper is the visual programming environment which is now included in Rhinoceros 6. Grasshopper scripts are represented by visual elements that progressively develop across the Grasshopper canvas. By creating visual Grasshopper scripts, designers explore and develop their models from concept to fabrication.

This fast-paced 2-day training will introduce attendees to Grasshopper and it will take them to an intermediate level. This workshop will give students a functional understanding of Grasshopper and Parametric design. The workshop will cover:

- Understanding the interface
- Modeling Geometry
- Data Structures
- The logic of using trees

Notes: A basic working knowledge of Rhino 5 or 6 is required. Our classroom is outfitted with computers for each attendee to use during class; laptops are not necessary. Class size is limited.
