SUMMARY:Rob|Arch2012
DESCRIPTION:\n \nROB|ARCH has been initiated by the Association for
Robots in Architecture as a new conference series on the use of roboti
c fabrication in architecture, art, and design, closely linking indust
ry with cutting-edge research institutions.\nFor the first time, ROB|A
RCH 2012 will bring together international university partners who wil
l open their robotic research labs to a creative use and present an in
sight in their applied robotic research at various locations throughou
t Europe. While the international workshops will be distributed at uni
versity partners, the following conference will take place in Vienna,
a city well known for its living quality, but also a hotspot for techn
ology and innovation.\nThe internationally renowned publishing house S
pringer Wien/New York will publish and market the proceedings of the c
onference worldwide with the following topics:\n-design to robotic fab
rication -rapid prototyping with industrial robots -mass customisati
on -robots beyond industrial uses -robotic aesthetics -customized ro
botics -digital and physical robotic interfaces\nSchedule:\n13.12.201
