DESCRIPTION:Bitonti’s design process is a blend of cutting edge digi
 tal design and manufacturing technologies, aimed to transform mass pro
 duction.\nAbout this Workshop:\nIn this course students will work with
  3D digital scan data to generate a garment that could be fabricated u
 sing cutting edge computer controlled manufacturing methodologies, inc
 luding laser cutting and 3D printing. Students will be introduced to t
 he limitations and advantages of these types of production and design 
 methodologies. Students will have the opportunity to produce in class 
 a prototype of a digitally fabricated textile using one of these produ
 ction technologies.\nAbout the Instructor:\nFrancis Bitonti is usherin
