DESCRIPTION:Buenos Aires’ city border with the river Plate is an une
 xplored opportunity. This two-week workshop will develop dynamic desig
 n strategies for the city in team-based research. The workshop will ex
 plore and test digitally fabricated structures as responsive systems t
 o existing city paths and urban crowd behaviours. PARAMETRIC techniqu
 es and tools will be introduced to the students during the workshop.\n
 The liquid barrier of the river will be used as a material to rearticu
 late the urban fabric, integrating architectural and urban scales. The
  immense size and force of the river fuses the city grid with its liqu
