DESCRIPTION:\nAthens - CIPHER CITY :: Revolutions\nWhat would happen i
 f a structure could transform in real‐time? AA Athens Visiting Schoo
 l embarks on its’ third cycle to address issues of change, adaptatio
 n and interaction in the design of an enclosed volume.\n \nRevolution
 s have occurred through architectural history and vary widely in terms
  of design methods and fabrication techniques. Focusing on inspiring n
 atural form‐finding techniques, AA Athens VS works towards producing
  a large‐scale interactive prototype that alters in real‐time the 
 perception of interior space.\n \nTechnology and architecture are cou
 pled for the third year in Athens with a novel agenda of transforming 
 an enclosed area and creating internal contrasting city‐life charact
 eristics that transcend the local conditions. In collaboration with th
 e National Technical University of Athens, Cipher City: Revolutions ex
 plores participatory design and active engagement modeling and continu
 es building novel prototypes upon horizontal planes.\n \nThe toolset 
 includes mainly ‐among others‐ Rhino Grasshopper, Processing and A
 rduino platforms. With the completion of the Programme participants re
 ceive the AA Visiting School Certificate. In 2013, the design agenda o
 f AA Athens will connect with the agenda of AA Greece VS in the city o
 f Patras. Participation in both Programmes will allow for a more exten
 sive learning experience through additional tools like Autodesk Maya, 
 Autodesk 3D Studio Max and more.\nDiscounts\nThe AA offers several dis
 count options for participants wishing to apply as a group or particip
 ants wishing to apply for both AA Athens and AA Greece Visiting School
 s:\n1.       Standard application\nThe AA Visiting School requir
 es a fee of £600 per participant, which includes a £60 Visiting Memb
 ership. If you are already a member, the total fee will be reduced aut
 omatically by £60 by the online payment system. Fees are non-refundab
 le.\n2.       Group registration\nFor group applications, there 
 will be a range of discounts depending on the number of people in the 
 group.  The discounted fee will be applied to each individual in the 
 group.\n1. 3-6 people group: £60 (AA Membership fee) + 540*0.75 = £4
 65 (25 %)\n2. 6-15 people group: £60 + 540*0.70 = £438 (30%)\n3. mor
 e than 15 people group: £60 + 540*0.65 = £411 (35%)\n3.       
 Participants attending AA Greece VS and AA Athens VS | 40% discount\nF
 or people wishing to attend both AA Greece VS and AA Athens VS, a disc
 ount of 40% will be made for each participant. (The participant will p
